Children’s Ministry (Back)
Calvary Chapel Fontana is committed to providing the best possible environment for the spiritual welfare of our children. It is our desire to supplement the family in building a spiritual foundation that leads a child to praise God, obey His word and develop a lifelong relationship with Christ that will enable them to share Jesus with others.
We provide Sunday morning classes that teach children sound biblical doctrine on their level. Classes range from nursery infants through mid-school, high school. Our teachers are equipped, accountable and committed to the word of God and this ministry.
“And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord, and great shall be thy peace of thy children” Isaiah 54:13
Youth Ministry (Back)
The primary vision of our youth ministry is to prepare and equip our youth members to be a part of Christ’s ministry through worship in song, studying the word, understanding personal testimonies and missions. We offer Sr. High school studies. The vision of our church and Youth Ministry is:
- To build individual faith in Christ and addressing the distinction between going to church, based on ones relationship with the Lord, rather than just because it’s “your parent’s religion.” John 14:6-7, 15-21. Ephesians 2:8
- Development of faith through scripture with the support of the family and church. 1 Timothy 4:11-14, 5:8. Acts 20:28. Ephesians 6:10-18.
- Putting faith to action by being a part of missions and outreach events and activities. Mathew 28:19-20. James 2:14-26. 1 John 1:3-7.
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, not anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!” Romans 8:38 & 39
Prayer Ministry (Back)
It is important to understand that God’s word, and prayer, is our only weapon against the enemy. We at Calvary Chapel Fontana recognize that praying God’s word gives us the greatest arsenal available to us, the Christian Soldier.
As prayer warriors, we stand in the gap between the living and the dead. “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16. We understand that we are praying from victory, not for defeat.
“Give ear, o Lord, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplication. In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.” Psalms 86:6,7.
Marriage Ministry (Back)
“A threefold cord is not easily broken” Ecclesiastes 4:12
The Marriage Ministry provides biblical direction in both marriage and family issues. We meet with couples seeking God’s word to direct couples in communication, husband and wife roles, finances, intimacy, parenting, and spiritual growth.
Our purpose is to assist couples in growing together in Christ, and in doing so, glorifying our Father in heaven.

Women’s Ministry (Back)
Women teaching women!
The women’s ministry aims are to meet several needs of the Christian women through spiritual growth thus resulting in maturity.
The biblical bases for our women’s ministry are to practice and participate in these four essential functions - The truth of God’s word, fellowship, prayer, and social events.
The women’s ministry gathers every Tuesday evening at 7:00pm. We have other events during the year including our yearly retreat in June.
Men’s Ministry (Back)
Equipping men to be men of God!
God has called men to discipleship, headship, leadership, and servitude. The head of every man is Christ! Thus men are called to follow Christ example and learn how to lay down their lives for the brethren.
The biblical bases for our men’s ministry are to practice and participate in these four essential functions - The truth of God’s word, fellowship, prayer, and social events.
The Spanish men’s ministry meets every Saturday morning at 7:00am, except the first Saturday of the month, when both English and Spanish groups will have a breakfast type gathering, too worship God and meditate on His word.
Music and Worship Ministry (Back)
The absolute focus of the Music and Worship ministry is God Himself. Our vision is to build worship teams and band whose sole purpose is to worship God and bring glory to Him, and not ourselves.
The ministries of worship leading and special music are intended to be the ladle (the instrument) that draws (inspires) the love from the hearts of the congregation to be poured unto the altar of God as a burnt offering, as a sweet fragrance, into an attitude of joyful praise and reflective song as we offer up to God "the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name." (Heb 13:15).
Opportunities to serve include Sunday and Wednesday Worship teams. For additional information, please contact us.
Mission’s Ministry (Back)
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations , baptizing them in the name of the Father and Son and Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19
Our mission ministries encompasses both locally in the streets of Fontana (through our evangelism ministry) and abroad. We currently are serving the State of Sonora Mexico in the town of villa Juarez. By reaching out with the physical needs of the people and being well equipped spiritually, the Holy Spirit has honored us with this ministry.

Evangelism (Back)
Evangelism means “Preacher of the Gospel”. The Holy Spirit has given the ability to some to effectively communicate the Gospel in a unique way, despite the diverse range of personalities, to drawn the unsaved to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Food Bank (Back)

We desire to serve the Lord as we serve the needs of those in need. The food pantry is used to nourish and bless those within the body of Christ as well as our community in its need.

Helping Hands Ministry (Back)
A ministry to provide meals for those who are in need due to immediate family illness, childbirth, or passing of a loved one.
We offer meals and prayer support to those who are hurting.
